Profasorb is the soil wetting agent chosen for fertigation systems. Thus, it is most economical for use on golf courses or similar locations.
Profasorb is a uniquely formulated high grade soil surfactant. It helps reduce crusting, loosens up hard clay soils and aggregates sandy soil. This surfactant allows water and oxygen to better reach plant roots by reducing the surface tension between the water and the soil.
Furthermore, Profasorb improves the growth and activity of micro-organisms necessary for a healthy soil environment. By improving water and oxygen balance in soil, plants are healthier. Therefor, you increase disease and insect tolerance in turfgrass and other plants.
Profasorb gets water moving deeply into the soil and thus is a great soil penetrant. When moving the water deeply into soil, this optimizes aerobic conditions for healthy roots. Furthermore, this enhances plant nutrient uptake. Profasorb is particularly popular among golf course superintendents for improving turfgrass conditions throughout the year.
Profasorb is applied through fertigation at a rate of 2 – 4 quarts per acre per month. For best results, apply 2 quarts per acre every two weeks.
This is a professional grade product.
